Since 1983, BC Furnace has proudly serviced its local community. Unlike many heating companies, we’ve weathered the storm of various economic downturns. We are proud to have grown our business and maintained customer loyalty through exceptional work and customer service. We know that furnaces and other heating equipment can be a large investment that will benefit your home.
Company Culture
Bayne L. Vardy has instilled a company culture of “complete customer satisfaction.” His client-centric approach has helped take the company from the humble beginnings as a one-man startup to a multi-million dollar company with over 18 vehicles and thousands of loyal customers.
Company Timeline
1983 – B.C. Furnace is established by entrepreneur Bayne L. Vardy.
2003 – Bayne L. Vardy is recognized by the Ethno Business Council of BC for his contributions in the heating industry as a New Canadian Entrepreneur.
2005 – B.C. Furnace fully expands its functions to include air conditioning installation, service and repair. As a result, BC Furnace released its new company name: B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd.
2008 – B.C. Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd. opens its new showroom in Coquitlam. The company celebrates 25 years of serving communities in the Lower Mainland.
2009 – A new slogan is adopted: “Fresh Air Begins with Fresh Thinking.” This encapsulates the company philosophy of total commitment to both customers and the environment.
2009 – B.C. Furnace & Air Condition Ltd. becomes an active campaigner for Carbon Monoxide Awareness amongst Canadians.
2017 – BC Furnace works with the Children’s Wish Foundation to sponsor the wish of young Ava Tronnes by sending her and her mother, Janeen, to visit New York City.
2020 – Furnace Parts Department
We now offer an All Makes & Models furnace parts department for the DIY handyman. Open Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:0pm, and Emergency after hours parts pickup is available at an additional cost of $75.00.
2023 – Celebration
40 years serving the Greater Vancouver in the Lower Mainland of BC, and we are proud to say that we now carry over $30,000 worth of popular furnace repair parts on each of our service vehicles in our effort to get more furnace up-and-running on the first visit.
